I see that you are pro choice. I and everyone I know is pro life. I like to think I am a very open minded conservative Christian. I would just like to know how you weigh a womans choice with a human life? While I feel for women who are pregnant and do not want to be I can't help to think about the poor child inside the woman that can not protect its self. I would just like to educate myself on how pro choicers feel (besides what the left and right say).

Let me applaud you for wanting to understand the other side of the issue. Many people (myself included) are often to quick to argue their opinion without even attempting to understand what the other understands. I believe when you know what’s going on from both sides of the table, then you can better express yourself.

As someone who is pro-choice, I don’t see an abortion as killing anything. Why? Because I don’t see the fetus as a living organism or baby. I don’t see life beginning at conception or even during the first trimester. If there is no life, then there can be no “murder.”

I also value the woman more than the fetus. I see her as the carrier of it. She’s the one who will ultimately bear the burden of carrying it to term and undergoing possible complications during and after should she decide to go along with the pregnancy. Since it is her body, I don’t have any authority nor right to tell her what to do with it.

And I appreciate your opinion as well and desire to remain open-minded. I like it when all of us can get along despite our differing views.
