As extreme as it sounds, I consider this the face of evil. It is none other than 3-times elected Governor of Texas Rick Perry.

Apparently Perry’s got some agendas for his new term in office — one being the enforcement of unnecessary and cruel measures in order to deter women from abortion procedures. According to a UPI article posted today, Perry wants to require all women seeking an abortion to view a sonogram and listen to the heartbeat of the fetus. He stated, “When someone has all the information, the right choice will be made — the choice for life.”

It’s bad enough I’m stuck with this man governing my state for four more years, but if he’s going to mess with my and other’s reproductive rights, I’m not going to take it lightly.

Texans and residents of any other states, please send Rick Perry a quick note and let him know you are not ok with him directing our tax funds towards such legislation.
