The night Republicans booed a soldier
Ugly outbursts from GOP debate audiences threaten to make the party’s image problem even worse
By Steve Kornacki

His video then ended and … a handful of very loud boos erupted in the debate hall. Otherwise there was silence — not one cheer for an active-duty soldier asking the candidates if they’d let him continue serving his country without lying. No other voter-submitted question all night elicited such a harsh response.

For anyone wishing to view Santorum’s response for themselves, the question occurs at the 1:15:50 mark. The entire debate is available for viewing on Youtube as well. I watched it (in the spirit of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer), and it reaffirmed what I already knew — I’m definitely a democrat.
